Rectangular or round

The shape reveals where the gasket is fitted. The rectangular felt gaskets seal hatches and covers on the stove, and the dimensions are stated as length x width. The round ones are fitted at the flue gas extractor motor flange, where unbranded flange gaskets are also available under gasket for flue gas extractor motor. Measure the old gasket externally. If it is crumbled or compressed completely flat, measure the hatch or flange it was fitted on instead.

Same dimensions across brands

Several pellet stove brands use the same components, and the same applies to the gaskets. A felt gasket measuring 220 x 120 mm is available for MCZ, RED, Cadel, FreePoint, Pegaso and Brisach, and the round Ø170 mm version is available for, among others, MCZ, RED, Rowi, CMG and Jydepejsen. If your brand is not on the list, search by the dimensions, as the same gasket is often sold under several brand names.

Felt compresses and remains in the shape it has taken, while a rubber gasket is elastic and returns to its original shape. Therefore, stick to the material that was fitted previously, and find the rubber versions under rubber gasket.
